 | I am the administrator of the Capital Area Tennis League. This league has been a long running one going back perhaps 40 years and more. Previous to the internet the league was run by postal mailings and telephone.
In the past 10 years or so we went the email routine. I must admit I had some reluctance to move to an internet based run league. GTN appeared to be the best out there for our use.
This turned out to be a wonderful move for the CATL. No longer do we need to rely on weekly standings to be issued each Sunday evening. All challenges and scoring is out there for all to see.

| I have been using the Global Tennis Network for about 5 years now. It has been a great resource for getting people to play, and is an easy way for people to find opponents to play.  | I love to play tennis but this sport has a major drawback (not only tennis): if you don't have an opponent your options become narrowed to grabbing a racquet and go throwing a few balls against a wall or....playing TopSpin 3 on a PlayStation LOL
I recently found myself without my regular tennis partner so a couple of months ago I began searching for some kind of online platform that could allow me to play against REAL people ;)
And then.....I found Global Tennis Network!! Which matched perfectly all my expectations! Since I'm playing in one the most popular ladders I can testify that it really works fine. Having many players using this online platform their usability experience can be channeled to make it even better implementing new and better features. | What a great resource for club members! The Global Tennis Network makes ladders and tournaments so easy. The ladders are calculated so anyone can play anybody. So many other ladder are rigid and players have to follow certain rules. If you like those rules then you can plug them into program, so one player can only play another once before playing another. The great thing is that you can tailor the ladder to your needs. Trevor has made the ladder system so user friendly that anyone can use it.
Our club has also used the tournament software and that is wonderful also. You can make singles, doubles and double elimination tournaments. I had a computer specialist research the best online tennis programs for ladders and tournaments. There is no comparison. Global Tennis Network is the site to go for your tennis planning needs.
