Q: How do I register for this ladder? A: Click the "Sign Up" link in the "Ladder Menu". The ladder administrator can also manually add unregistered players to this ladder. You can also go directly to the ladders's registration page here: https://www.globaltennisnetwork.com/network/ladder-league/registerPage/3622_15677-camel-city-ladder-spring-2023 Q: How does a doubles ladder without teams work? A: Because double partners do not always stay the same for each match, the doubles ladders keep everyone separate. A player's points for each match are determined by who they play with, and who their two opponents are. If two players play together throughout the entire ladder, they will have the same ranking. Because of the complexity of doubles, players do not challenge one another, scores are simply submitted by the winning team after a match. Q: How do I submit a score? A: To submit a score, simply click the "Submit a score" link in the Ladder Menu on the right side of the page. Before you submit a score, make sure another player has not already done so. Q: What is a "non-registered" player? A: A non-registered player is a player on the ladder that was added by the ladder administrator. They did not register for the website and therefore do not have access to all the ladder's features included, challenges, score submission, comment board, statistics etc.. The ladder administrator must submit match scores for matches involving all non-registered players. Q: What do "non-registered" players do once they register? A: If you become a registered member, then all you need to do is log in and click "Claim" next to your ladder profile. The "Claim" link will only be visible if you are logged in, and not already registered (or upgraded) for the ladder. You will then enter the passcode that you were emailed when the administrator signed you up. Your profile will then be upgraded to your registered account. Q: What is a passcode? A: When the ladder administrator signs up players, they are considered non-registered. If a non-registered player registers for the site, then they can use the passcode that was sent to their email to upgrade their account to registered. With a registered account, members can submit and accept challenges, report match scores, post comments on the ladder's comment board, view their match history and more. Q: What if I don't have a passcode? A: If you don't have a passcode, contact the ladder administrator. They will be able to send you one. Make sure they have your correct email address on file. Q: Where do you enter the passcode? A: If you are logged into the site, and you are not registered (or upgraded) for the ladder, you will see an "Claim" link next to all non-registered players. Click this link next to your name. Q: What should I do if I go on vacation or get injured? A: You should go "unavailable". To go unavailable, go to your dashboard. From there you can set your unavailable start and end date. Q: What do the little red and green arrows mean next to the players? A: These arrows represent their trend in ranking:  Went up 3 ranks in their last 3 matches. Went up 2 ranks in their last 3 matches. Went up 1 rank in their last 3 matches. Went down 1 rank in their last 3 matches. Went down 2 ranks in their last 3 matches. Went down 3 ranks in their last 3 matches.Q: Can the ranking system be changed? A: Yes. The ranking system used can be changed at anytime by the ladder administrator. You can change the system back and forth without any loss of match results or rankings. Q: How do I contact the administrator? A: In order to contact the administrator, you must be registered. This insures that the administrator's email is not seen by everyone.
