RLTC Singles Test - 2021/2022 is a tennis league in Richmond, England.
TEST - pilot of adjusted ladder rules
RLTC runs a Singles Box league for members to play competitive singles tennis... on a regular basis and to meet other members.
The league will consist of 5 boxes. Each box will have approximately 15 to 20 players. The league will run from May to April, following the club's membership year. At the end of every 2 months (June, August, October, December, February, April), the top 5 players in a box will move up and the bottom 5 players will move down. Note: if the participation drops and there are fewer than 15 people in a box, the numbers moving up and down may have to be adjusted. This year (2020) exceptionally, the first movements of players will be at the end of August as we are just starting the league in mid-June.
The league is open to all active members and all abilities. You can join the league at any time throughout the year. Typically, members will join the league in box 3, improver members in box 5. At any time a coach can determine if a player should move to a different box.
All ladder members should maintain current contact information. If you change phone numbers or e-mail addresses, you must update your profile so other member can contact you and you will receive email notifications.
Look for the Ladder League Dashboard (usually on the right panel while viewing the league). In there you can mark the days you are available for challenges or if you are unavailable for travel or injury. Maintaining your schedule will help prevent getting challenges during unavailable times. To be fair, please do not make your availability so restrictive that it's impossible to get a challenge. Note: Challenges are not required to play a match.
