Box League - 2021/2022 Round 1 is a tennis ladder in Richmond, England. RLTC runs a Singles Box League for members to play competitive singles tennis on a regular basis and to meet other... members. It is designed for players who want regular competitive matchplay. The box leagues are round robin format. Each box will have 5 or 6 players requiring 4 or 5 matches per 8-week round. There will be promotions and relegations after each round. Commitment to complete your matches is important for the Box League The league will run May through to April, following the club's membership year. At the end of every ~2 months, boxes will be reset with top player(s) in a box moving up and the bottom player(s) moving down. The league is open to all active members and all abilities. You can apply to join the league at any time throughout the year and, subject to space being available, will be placed following review by the coaches and ladder administrators All members should maintain current contact information. If you change phone numbers or e-mail addresses, please update your profile so other member can contact you and you will receive email notifications. Note: Challenges are not required to play a match i.e. you don’t need to have issued a challenge to be able to record a match, but using a challenge may be helpful if you do not know your opponent.
