SINGLES CHALLENGE LADDER LEAGUE
FORMAT AND RULES
This is an Open format singles challenge ladder... with players ranging from 3.5 – 4.5 NTRP. Regular season matches are best of three sets with tie breakers and can be scheduled by the players at any time and played anywhere. Playoff matches may be played indoors at the Cooper Tennis Complex, Springfield, MO (unless both players mutually agree on another location). The league will use www.globaltennisnetwork.com to track match scores and calculate points and rankings. The player winning the playoffs will be the season CHAMPION. All participants must be members at Cooper Tennis Complex.

$21 per person per ladder
REGISTRATION DEADLINE
October 15th, 2020
OPPONENT LIMIT
Players are allowed to record only three matches per opponent per season.
ENTERING MATCH SCORES
Scores must be entered with 48 hours from when the match was played. Typically, the winner enters the scores but both players are ultimately responsible for ensuring the score is entered in www.globaltennisnetwork.com (GTN). Administrator may set alternative deadlines for scores to be entered as needed.
PLAYOFFS
The top 8 players from each season will qualify for the playoffs, which will immediately follow each season. Playoff seedings will be determined by rankings on GTN at the end of the regular season. Playoff matches are to be played indoors at Cooper Tennis Complex, unless it is mutually agreed that a playoff match will be played elsewhere in the Springfield area. Playoff winner will be the season champion and will be awarded prizes. The 2nd place and 3rd place players will also receive prizes.
PLAYOFF QUALIFICATIONS
Players must play a minimum of 5 matches and be in the Top 8 to qualify for the playoffs.
CODE OF CONDUCT
The league is considered to be a “friendly-competitive” league and requires good sportsmanship from all players. When issues arise, they should be resolved by the players as best as possible before seeking assistance from the administrator. Please refer to the USTA’s Code of Conduct and On-Court Rules if you should have any questions on this.
