If you enjoy playing mixed doubles this may be something that you will get excited about. Deadline for sign up is June 4ththat 5 pm. In June we will have our first month long mixed doubles challenge, much like our March singles madness tourney. You and your partner will sign up to be part of it. We will create flights and draws for the month-long event, using globaltennisnetwork.com where players will schedule their matches on their own time within a given time period.
Final weekend will finish out the event with winners of each flight playing each other within their level of play. We are planning on having three divisions to start with and if it grows add more in future years. The divisions are 7.5 and below and 7.5 and above, also 8.5 and up, these are combined ratings.
The cost for this event is $12.50 per member, please be specific with who your partner is and what division you are participating in.Here is the link to sign up for the event. After everyone is signed up we can than make the flights and tennis can begin.
On the final weekend of the event Saturday June 25th, with a rain make up of June 26th we will have beverages for the participants, salads, grilled chicken, hot dogs and great tennis.
