Saturday Round Robin June 2022

This is the sign-up for the Saturday adult doubles round robin being held June 4, 2022 - weather and provincial health mandates permitting.

TOURNAMENT PURPOSE:

Adults, of all abilities, social, mixed doubles round robin.

The event is for fun, exercise and socializing (socially distancing at the same time as required).

As this is a mixed doubles social round robin, players will be matched with a partner to try and achieve balanced teams for fun play, meet some new players and do well.

It will be run similar to the Wednesday night round robins, with a Fast 4 format, a winner and consolation bracket. Meaning every player will get a minimum of two sets. Sets are first to win 4 games. Finals will be a set to 6. With a tie break at 5-5.

WHO:

This is open to adults young and old.

Although the season has not officially started if you were signed up with the Club for the 2022 season already that would be good for everyone. - you can find the 2022 online registration at following URL:

The event is limited to 32 players - first come first serve.

WAIT LIST

If there are 32 players signed up and you are still interested in playing please sign-up and you will be placed on the wait list. If a registered player then drops out the first on the waiting list will be automatically added to the tournament and sent an email to let them know.

WHERE:

All games will be played at the Warder Courts

WHEN:

Tournaments will be held Saturdays at 3pm for the month of June.
(June 4, 11, 18, 25)

HOW:

Sign-up for those tournaments will begin 6 days ahead of the tournament. Except for the June 4th tournament where sign-up will begin mid-May.

ORGANIZATION:

There is a $4 fee that will cover the cost of balls.

This is an NOT an official STC event. It is just play being organized by players David Bradshaw, Thomas Kurien and Will Von Althen.
