Why Create a Tennis Ladder?

Many clubs around the world are using tennis ladders to manage their tennis leagues. A tennis ladders is simply a tool to keep track of match results and rank the players based on the matches they have played. The goal of a tennis ladder is to be at the top. Players can challenge one another to a match in order to climb the ladder. Different rankings systems can be used in order to compute a players position. The most common rankings system for a tennis ladder is the "Leap Frog" system. With this system, a players simply takes the position of the higher ranked player after winning a match against them.

A tennis ladder can also be a great tool for any school's tennis team tryouts. By setting your ladder to a round robin format, you can force all the players to play one another. After all the matches have completed, it will be easily apparent who the best and worse players are.

Global Tennis Network has made creating and managing a tennis ladder a breeze. You can determine the rules, ranking system, gender, playing levels, prizes and more. You can even accept an entry fee using PayPal and have your players added to the ladder automatically after a successful payment.
