Mixed Doubles Ladder is a tennis league in San Diego, California.
NOTE: WEBSITE DOES RANKING AUTOMATICALLY. IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A PARTNER WE WILL MATCH YOU UP
NOW,, MANY OF YOU ARE... WONDERING HOW LADDER WORKS.
DON'T WORRY, I WILL EXPLAIN THE RULES AND STEPS BELOW
Setting up initial ranking
To play tennis ladder, we need to determine starting position on the ladder. We could be drawing this from hat,
but knowing that not all players can be there at the same time, i decided to draw the ranking by the order each team signed up for this ladder.
Note: Don't let this initial ranking fools you, this is just a starting position.
Your team could be the biggest underdog starting from the lowest ranking.
And any player who add after the first week will be added to the bottom of ladder.
Third step: Start playing and understanding how ladder works.
Now,, this step is very important. Please pay attention what i am about to explain the rules.
When higHer seed or ranking loses the winner will replace that team and loser moves down one spot(or ranking).
Everyone between these teams will also move down one spot.
For example, rank #3 team challenges rank #1 team and wins, then rank #3 team takes the rank #1 spot,
rank #1 team moves down to rank #2 and rank #2 team bumps to the rank #3 spot.
If your team challenges and lose, nobody moves.
Reporting the score
