Surrey Beginner to 5.0 lessons

Tennis is not a racquet sport, it is a movement, rhythm and timing sport. It's footwork first. You will learn great footwork in order to receive the ball for the ball you want to send. You will learn to move your body to control the racquet to control the ball. Remember tennis is not a game where we hit the ball, it is a competition to control the ball. The player that loses control, losses the point. Control the ball and hit targets. I will encourage you to view the sport from a new perspective. You will learn to run plays and create court position in order to anticipate and return early, thus pressuring your opponent. People play their best when having fun, and I will create a very fun environment to bring out the best in you.
