Pro Tennis Academy – Global Tennis Network

Join Pro Tennis Academy’s Global Tennis Network and take part in local Tournaments, Ladders and leagues. The network is simple and easy to use and puts you in touch with players in your area to play and compete against.

What’s on offer?

We have a wide range of tournaments on offer from Knockout tournaments, box leagues and ladders.

Where do I play the matches?

Matches are organised by you and take place either at your club, opponents club or mutual venue. Each event will have slightly different guidelines on venue allocation but it’s really easy and straight forward.

What areas of covered?

We are open to players in Cheshire, Lancashire, Shropshire and North Wales.

Is there a fee?

Yes we charge a small £10.00 yearly membership fee to join the network, but after that all the events are free to members. You can enter as many events as you want and play lots of matches. The fee helps cover the cost of prizes, advertising and administration. Our goal is to get you competing not to make money.

Can this help towards my rating?

Yes all events are classed as grade 6 or grade 7 match play events. All results will be sent to the LTA for ratings purposes.

If I’m not happy can I get a refund?

We offer a money back guarantee if you haven’t played a minimum of three matches in your first 6 months of membership. You must challenge or enter a minimum of three events in the first six months to be eligible for a refund.

Who runs the network?

The network and all the events are organised and managed by Steve Whelan. Steve is an ATBO basic referee and has organised events to grade 4 level. Steve has also coordinated large international events such as the AEGON Pro Series and British Tour.
