I am a lifelong tennis player (I grew up going to France every summer and playing on red clay). I am also a Physics teacher and the Head Coach of Ramapo High School's Boys' Tennis Team (if you are an Ramapo-Indian Hills student, sorry, I can't give you any lessons)! With 14 years of experience in volleyball and over two decades dedicated to tennis, he has achieved a commendable 3.5 level in the sport. With 27 years devoted to tennis, including a professional playing career, I bring a unique perspective to coaching. My focus is nurturing both technical skills and a genuine love for the game. I'm committed to helping players of all levels unlock their full potential on the court. I'm a former professional tennis player from Minsk, Belarus, where I trained alongside Victoria Azarenka (former world #1) and Aryna Sabalenka (current world #1). I also played numerous matches against Grigor Dimitrov, Karen Khachanov, and Ilya Ivashka during my junior career. With over 12 years of experience in teaching and coaching, I’ve worked with players ranging from complete beginners to top junior players in the country. I started swinging a tennis racquet at the age of 13 hitting a wall and getting fascinated while watching the major tournaments on TV with my dad and instantly falling in love with the sport! Fast forward, had the opportunity to play college level for NCAA II Division and the honor of serving as the team captain. Today, my love for the sport still grows as I play on a regular basis, participating in local tournaments and events, as I'm equally excited of sharing this fondness to other enthusiast people out there. I’m very eager to share the core techniques and personal strategies I've honed over the years to get you hitting like you’ve never hit before!
