Passionate tennis player with a decade+ of experience. I've excelled at various levels, from high school varsity (2012 HS State team qualifier) to college club teams (Ohio State University and Ohio University tennis club alumnus). Previously, I was a full-time tennis professional and Director of Tennis and Pickleball @ Wedgewood Golf and Country Club in Columbus, OH training players of all ages. I have also been the Assistant Tennis Coach of the Girl’s Varsity Team for Westerville South High School (Westerville, OH) for the past two years. From Oct 2025 - July 2026, I was a part-time tennis professional @ Wickertree Tennis Club in Columbus, OH and coached the 3.5 Career Ladies’ USTA Team. Additionally, I have a strong background playing USTA Tournaments (22-6 all time in USTA doubles according to ITF World Tennis Number). Most recently I achieved the following: 2026 USTA League Midwest Ohio Valley Adult 18+ District Champion 2026 USTA League Midwest Ohio Adult 18+ State Runner Up I have a Bachelors degree in Evolution, Ecology, and Organismal Biology, a Masters degree in Biomedical Science, 2 years of medical school, a Certification in the Practice of Data Analytics, and I am currently studying for my next Masters in Bioinformatics at Northeastern University. If you are someone who has a STEM background, I excel at communicating tennis techniques and concepts in terms that STEM professionals can relate to and understand because I have a comprehensive knowledge of the biophysics, muscles, and fine motor feelings that one needs to be aware of when executing mechanics. I was a top 50-ranked tennis player in India before injuries forced me to stop playing competitively after the U18 level. My experience at the national level has given me a deep understanding of the game, both on a technical and strategic level, which I now bring to my coaching. I’m passionate about helping players improve and achieve their best, using the insights I’ve gained from years of high-level competition.

Hi! I'm Will, a private tennis instructor based in the Boston area. I've played competitive tennis for over 20 years, and have been coaching for the past 12, including at The Gasparilla Inn (FL) and The Westmoor Club (MA). After playing college tennis, I turned my passion for the sport into coaching. I work with players of all ages and skill levels, helping them build confidence, improve their game, and enjoy tennis. I started playing tennis in Haiti at the age of two. As a junior player, I participated in and won numerous tournaments. During my four years at Brockton High School, I was frequently featured in the Brockton Enterprise newspaper for my achievements. I continued my tennis career at Salem State University, winning two championships and participating in the NCAA tournaments twice. My accolades include being a 4-time First Team All-Conference honoree, and I am currently among the top 10 players with the most games won in Salem State history. I have been coaching for three years, working with players of all levels.

I grew up in Greece in a family of tennis coaches and competed across Europe for WTA/ITF tournaments before playing #1 singles and doubles in college tennis. I make every lesson personalized, high-energy, and a lot of fun, while helping you improve your technique, confidence, and overall game. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced player, I’ll tailor every session to your goals.

I’m passionate about fostering a love for tennis in players of all ages and skill levels. My decade of experience, coupled with my background as an experienced player, allows me to create engaging and effective training programs tailored to individual goals. As an ambidextrous player, I’m able to demonstrate and coach from both the forehand and backhand sides naturally, which gives students a unique visual and technical advantage when learning stroke mechanics, positioning, and shot development. In addition to tennis, I’ve played hockey and baseball throughout my life, which has given me a deep understanding of athletic movement, discipline, and cross-training techniques. I often integrate elements from those sports—like agility drills, hand-eye coordination work, and strength and conditioning regimens—that translate exceptionally well on the tennis court. I started playing tennis when I was 8 years old in Brazil. I got to #12 in the country U16 and #800 in the world U18. I later played at UAB (D1 college) where I was the captain of the tennis team. During the summers I would teach large groups from all ages and private lessons as well. I love to be able to teach someone the proper technique to maximize their potential and I care a lot about my students. I have experience in clay and hard courts and I would say my style of play is lots of spin, consistency, energy, and focus on the serve. I’ve been playing tennis for 17 years, including time on the professional circuit. My goal is to help players of all levels improve and enjoy the game. I focus on each player individually, tailoring every session to their needs while also sharing the valuable insights and on-court lessons that helped me compete at a high level.
