Founded in 1953 by Vee Toner, Joy Liken and Janet Thomas to promote women’s tennis, the Pittsburgh Tennis League’s mission to promote women’s tennis continues to grow almost 70 years later! Their goal to generate enthusiasm for the sport and to provide social and recreational league play to thousands of women in Western Pennsylvania is nothing short of remarkable.
